Digital Dialogue: Helping Couples Integrate AI with Relational Growth
Workshop Description:
As mental health stigma continues to decline, more individuals and couples are turning to digital platforms—TikTok, Instagram, and increasingly, AI—for relational guidance and emotional insight. With the growing accessibility of tools like ChatGPT, couples are experimenting with artificial intelligence to improve communication, navigate conflict, and deepen self-understanding.
Therapists now find themselves at a critical crossroads: whether to resist these technological shifts in favor of traditional therapeutic boundaries, or to thoughtfully integrate them into clinical practice. This workshop invites clinicians to take on the enduring role of guide and ethical steward—helping couples harness emerging AI tools in ways that enhance, rather than replace, the depth and efficacy of therapeutic work.
